Turk: You don't become a cop because you want to serve and protect. You join the force because they let you carry a gun and a badge. You do it because you get respect.

Det. Ted Riley:  Look, doctor, you read the poems. It is possible, right, that this guy is a cop?
Doctor:  I've never seen it. I've never even heard about a cop serial killer.
Det. Simon Perez: Doc, give us a tip. How are we gonna catch this guy?
Doctor: You don't have to worry about that. He wants to get caught.
Det. Ted Riley:  Why would he want that?
Doctor:  After a while getting away with it isn't enough. He wants everybody to know that he got away with it, to show everybody just how brilliant he is.

Rooster: Got a minute?
Karen Corelli:  Yeah, what's up?
Rooster: You know me and Turk are buddies, right?
Karen Corelli:  Of course.
Rooster: I'd do anything for him.
Karen Corelli:  He would do anything for you.
Rooster:  Would you?
Karen Corelli:  Would I what?
Rooster:  Would you do anything for him?
Karen Corelli:  I don't know...where is this going?
Rooster:  He wants you to have sex with me.
Karen Corelli:  Really?
Rooster:  He wouldn't mind. But that's not why I'm here.
Karen Corelli:  Okay, why are you here?
Rooster:  Where were you the night Rambo was killed and Trager? Got an alibi for those nights? I mean, did you know either one those guys before they were murdered? Makes you uncomfortable when I talk like that. You look like you're guilty. You're not guilty. I know that. You didn't kill those guys, did you? Now you know what Turk feels. I need you to get me some information discreetly. Can you do that for me?
Karen Corelli:  You got it. Absolutely.
Rooster:  Let's solve these fucking murders.
