Richard Bandler - Ericksonian Hypnosis

Bandler: a lot of people say that techniques we teach people are manipulative... and my answer is: you are fucking right they are, if they weren't then I wouldn't feel very good about teaching to other people - because to manipulate means in English to move from one place to another deliberately and I know that everybody here manipulate and just because you do it unconsciously does not change its effect. Once you know how to listen to and to response to somebody deliberately then you have the opportunity to be ethical... and the difference between that and... I mean if you say I just go with the flow of it... right... all that means is that you are unaware of what you are doing
